Have you ever wished to have a portrait made of yourself?
Or maybe a loved one or your favorite pet?
Or have your favorite painting hanging in your lounge but can't afford it?
Or maybe offer someone you love a wonderful painting as a present?
A commission gives the lucky receiver the opportunity be the proud owner of a unique and personal piece of artwork, something memorable that they'll be able to cherish for a long time.
You can have your portrait painted choosing from a variety of mediums (watercolor paper, canvas, canvas board, canvas paper, wood panel, etc.). To achieve the best result you should provide high quality reference photographs (or at least one) with no blurring and where the face features are clearly visible (good lighting). It's always a good idea to have more than one photo to understand more about the character of the person or animal to be portrayed and to have views from different angles so to have a better idea of their physical features. I specialize in the Old Masters or realistic styles, but I will consider other styles too. Portraits can take from days to months to complete, depending on size, number of subjects, medium, style, difficulty and waiting times.

If you have a particular painting in mind, whether it's a famous portrait by Raphael, a Leonardo Da Vinci masterpiece or something more modern or even abstract you can have an original painting reproduced just for you. Please take a look at my recent Reproductions to see some samples.
You might also have in mind something different, an original piece of artwork. Take a look at my Original Artwork to see some samples of what I have painted recently. Would a painting with subjects of your choice suit you? Maybe a combination of styles or elements or a more modern painting in the style of a famous painter?
HOW LONG WILL YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR YOUR PAINTING TO BE FINISHED?
Clearly each piece is different from another and there are a lot of factors to be considered including type of commission (portrait, reproduction, original), size, style, difficulty level and detail, etc. In general a portrait of medium size ad difficulty might take anything between 1 and 4 weeks, depending also on the current work load at the time. When agreeing to a commission and if time is an issue, I'll do my best to accomodate the requests of the customers.
